Salsano expresses no regret to Zap2it.com about the gunplay, as you might expect from the exec producer of Jersey Shore. SallyAnn sounds quite chipper about the little unpleasantness, in fact:
We've never had a situation quite like this one, but obviously we take precautions. That being said, it is a dice throw. But we are really well prepared and ready to go. See the people are upset -- but a lot of the people are excited. Ninety-nine percent of people in this situation have a "story" about why their car shouldn't be repossessed. And that's part of the fun -- hearing the stories they're concocting as to why. Win or lose, when we leave the house every single person is happy we came.Well, at least one person wasn't completely overjoyed, especially after he was taken into custody.
Believe it or not, Repo Games is not as bad as Salsano makes it sound. The questions are really easy, so the contestants have a decent chance to keep their car from getting repossessed. But I still feel a little queasy about making a game show out of people (possibly) losing their automobiles. I'm just an old fuddy-duddy.
