MrCastle (UK)
MrCastle is one of the best painters on the Secrets of the Third Reich forum. He has been working his way through the ranges available, painting up Germans, Soviet's and British platoons, and from what I see he has the US in mind as well. You can tell this guys puts a lot of effort and love into his paintjobs, his models are always looking crisp and smooth. He has also won "Best painted" during the UK SoTR tournament as well.
I've collected some of his painted models in this post, but you should really visit his threads on the SoTR forum to see all his models! Truly an inspiration to anyone playing SoTR.

Dentatus (US)
I came across Dentatus STALKER project over at the Lead Adventure forum when browsing various threads. Seeing someone do a miniature wargame version of one of my favorite games immidiately caught my interest, and the level of detail put into the models ranging from the colors on the uniform to their armament is so similar to STALKER that it made me grin. Look forward to see how this project evolves, Dentatus said he's going to use homemade rules and the game will be all about squad skirmish and action points. Mutants and artifacts will be added later once the backbone of the game is working.

Widgren (Sweden)
Another member of the Lead Adventure forum and aspiring Strange Aeons player :-D
Widgren has a project thread filled with awesome Lovecraftian monsters, as well as a blog where he's posting pictures of excellent looking scratch built Mordheim terrain and monster sculpts. Damn good looking stuff all around!
Really looking forward to see more of his Lovecraft stuff as his Strange Aeons stuff begins to grow.

Ogge (Sweden)
Ogge is posting a lot of historical projects over at the small Swedish community "LittleWars", a forum geared towards historical wargaming ranging from 6-28mm scales. During my first day of browsing their forum with my newly registered account I came across Ogge's thread titled "Deluge". My heart started to race and my mind wash throwing around associations to Sienkiewicz trilogy, Winged Hussars, warwith Sweden, the Chmielnicki Uprising and war with the Ottoman Empire. Entering his thread did not disappoint, and it was the first time I've seen such a collection of Winged Hussar models in 28mm! The Winged Hussars are converted "The assault group" hussars that have been given wings from "Essets" (to give them the double wing look of the late period which is my favorite). Just look at all those hand painted banners!

One of the coolest projects I've come across is a group effort, all members of the Swedish "YLVA" forum these guys have been scratch building ships for naval battles in 28mm scale for Warhammer Fantasy! The idea was ignited by Shadowwolf, who also posted rules and pulled the rest of the gang into this madness. This project is amazing for multiple reasons, the fact that these boats are scratch built as well as the small timeframe in which these guys have had an "arms race" building and painting their vessels - truly impressive!
