Here's a GIF of Kris Letang doing something even stupider than crosschecking a referee last night

Kris Letang crosschecked a referee last night.  It's hardly something we're going to get worked up about, but it's also not something we're going to burn any calories defending.  What a dope.

But he made an infinite number of even more stupid decisions.  In the one below, the puck squirts out to him in a battle behind the Pens net.  Rather than take the 50 feet of open ice to his left, Letang lazily attempts to shoot the puck through three pairs of legs to no one in particular.  Obviously, this led directly to Brain Strait's first goal for the Islanders.  Watch closely.

Again, what a dope.
