Scientifically sexy

You needn't take my word for it. The appeal of long hair on women is science.

Yale psychologist Marianne LaFrance found that medium-length hair is best for looking smart; too long is too sexy, and too short is too boyish.

Or rather, it would be if psychology was a science. Which it isn't. But that doesn't make long hair any less attractive or short hair any less offputting. Still, it is informative to know that working women are actually advised to cut their hair if they want to reduce their sexual appeal, is it not?
