21 years ago today, the Pens came back to Pittsburgh for Game 3 of a first round playoff series against the Capitals. They trailed two games to none. Mario Lemieux stepped out of the Civic Arena tunnel, and it looked like his skates never even touched the ice. He was flying that night. 6 points later, and the Pens were on their way to a second consecutive Stanley Cup.
