Game show hosts moonlighting

This discussion thread chats about game show hosts who did guest roles in other TV shows or movies. I always thought the ultimate moonlighting role for a host was Richard Dawson's turn as the villainous emcee in Running Man. He proved that he could act, unlike his co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. Oddly, nobody mentions this role in the thread.

For me the most nostalgic bit in the thread is Johnny Olson's unbilled role as the announcer in the "Real Families" episode of WKRP in Cincinnati. I've always had a soft spot for that show, and not because it was supposedly set in my old hometown. WKRP just happened to be outlandishly funny a lot of the time. "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

There's also a note about Howie Mandel (with hair) guesting on Highway to Heaven. Sadly, I couldn't find any pictures of the hirsute Howie on the show. But the poster swears that he was quite handsome back then. I'll take her word for it.
