Vanessa may have lost Wipeout. But when you gain so much cuteness, who cares? To be honest, I thought Vanessa was just fine on the stuntfest, but I guess she either decided to hang it up or the decision was made for her.
The real lesson is that life happens. People get into relationships, get married, have kids, get divorced, switch jobs, make money, lose money, get and spend and lay waste their powers (thanks, Will). It's just the same in game shows as everywhere else. Even actuaries have lives, sort of.
